At Say-so we believe you should always know what data we collect from you and how we use it,we want you to have total control over the data you share with us and how we us your data, being as transparent as possible.

Below is some new information I’m sure you would like to know, we take your data security very seriously and we will like you to know you have total control over all your data you share with us.

 

How can I access my data held by Say-so?

You are able to get a report of all the information we have gathered from you this can be done simply by emailing us at info@say-soapp.com we will send you a report electronically. You can check what data we have on our app by going to your profile and clicking the pencil icon on the top right, the information in this section can be changed and deleted at any time to minimise the data we have of you, minus the mandatory fields that we need such as first name. All data will be deleted of yours once you deactivate your account this in affect means you wish to cut ties with Say-so App and be forgotten. To reuse Say-so you will have to sign up all over again.

How can I move my data around easily and freely?

You can transfer your information with Say-so very easily by copying and pasting details such as email and username to another app. Your data is yours to use and transfer how you like.

How will I be informed by Say-so when data is involved?

We understand how important your data is to you so before we ever decide to share your data with any third party apps or companies we will get your consent via email or app notification. You must opt-in to our request for us to ever use your data in any new way. We will have to get a confirmation from yourself; if no confirmation is give your data will not be used.

How can I change my incorrect data on Say-so?

You are free to change your data as you wish on Say-so if data is incorrect please correct it by methods stated above in the ‘right to access’ section. If you decide not to use the same email you registered with on Say-so you will have to delete your current account and register with Say-so again to guarantee we delete this data completely. Or you can email us on the email above and have your data deleted with your confirmation via email.

How is my data used when I’m inactive on Say-so?

If you decide for whatever reason you want to remain on Say-so and not us the app we will leave your data as you left it.

How can I object to my data being used in terms of marketing?

You have the right to object for Say-so to use your data in any type of marketing this can be done via not accepting any notification for your data to be used or via email stating you wish for your data not to be used. We will make this clear at the start of any communication with yourself before we ask for permission or while we process your request for data not to be used. Any processing that has taken place will stop once we have had communication from you, even if you have previously given us consent.

Will I be told if there is a data breach on Say-so App?

We will like to insure you your data us extremely safe on our servers and we work day in day out to keep it that way as we value our users and their data greatly. If a data breach was to ever happen in an extreme situation, you will be notified within 72 hours via email of any data breach.

 

Personalising Across Your Devices: When you log into your account with your device, we will associate that device with your account for purposes such as authentication helping us detent any potential Hackers and personalization. Depending on your settings, we may also personalize your experience based on information from other devices, besides the ones you use to log into Say-so.

Additional Information: You can provide us with additional information to help improve and personalize your experience across Say-so. We may later personalize content, such as making suggestions or showing user accounts and Say-sos’ you may want to listen to. This may be based on information supplied. If you email us, we may keep your message, email address, and contact information to respond to your request. If you connect your account on our Services to your account on another service, the other service may send us information that you authorise for use in the Services. This information may enable cross-posting or otherwise help us improve the Services, and is deleted from our Services within a few weeks of your disconnecting from our Services your account on the other service.

Say-so, say-so Pic, Listeners and Listening-To: Say-so is for is for sharing information with the world. Most of the information you provide us through say-so will be Listened to and seen by the world meaning potentially any one that is on the app. You may provide us information such as your profile say-so and your email address. Our default is almost always to make the information you provide through the Services public for as long as you do not delete it, once it is deleted it is gone we do not store this information.

 

Silent Say-so: We allow you to communicate privately via Silent a Say-so, the information shared within this private Say-so cannot be made public, unless either user decides to share the content. This information will not be shared internally or externally, we respect your privacy

 

Our App is to be used to socialise with world, storing information will be needed for this and we will like to be as clear as possible as to what we might be storing and what privacy you will have using our app.

Information you choose to give us will be stored in a secure Data base only to be used by Say-so and our third party partners, when you create an account with us you will have to give us some information such as email or phone number.

Information you choose to give us and Information we get when you use our services will all be used as securely as possible by Say-so and our partners to make your experience as pleasant as possible.

We collect information about your activity through our services. Say-so is about being social with the world, we will with your consent of course collect information from your device’s phonebook. This feature will allow you to connect if friends in a very simple way.

Say-so will require use of your camera, photos and microphone, with your permission the app will have access to this information to allow the user experience to be as fun as possible. We collect information about how often you may create a say-so post and scroll through the app, what pictures you may put up and what people you like listening-to.

 

Cookies

Like most online services and mobile applications, we may use cookies and other technologies, such as unique advertising identifiers, to collect information about your activity, and device. Also general usage will be collected and what you like to interact with will help us make Say-so a unique experience for every user.

 

How Long We Keep Your Content

Your Say-so posts are removed from your timeline after 24hrs, but will stay on your profile as one of your last ten recent posts. Once you upload the 11th post the oldest in the last ten will be deleted on your profile and on our data base to never be used again. The only information we store for the length of time you are using the app is the information you provide as you signed in and the information used to make your experience as unique as possible. If you email us, we may keep your message, email address, and contact information to respond to your request.

Information sharing

We will share information with other Say-so users such as your username, full name who you listen-to and who Listens to you. Also, any additional information you have consented for us to share. For example, when you let us access your device phonebook, we may share information about you with other users who have your phone number in their phonebook. Content you post or send will be shared with other users; Say-so posts may be shared with the world or just one person via silent say-so.

 

End User Licence agreement

By accessing or using the Say-so mobile application, the Say-so service, or Say-so website by Seven One Four Limited (together, the “Service”), however accessed, you agree to be bound by these terms of use (“Terms of Use”). The Service is owned or controlled by Seven One Four Limited (“Say-so”). These Terms of Use affect your legal rights and obligations. If you do not agree to be bound by all of these Terms of Use, do not access or use the Service.
ARBITRATION NOTICE: EXCEPT IF YOU OPT-OUT AND EXCEPT FOR CERTAIN TYPES OF DISPUTES DESCRIBED IN THE ARBITRATION SECTION BELOW, YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND SAY-SO WILL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING, INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION AND YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.

 

Basic Terms and Rules whilst using Say-so

  1. You may not post violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive photos or other content via the Service.
  2. You must not defame, stalk, bully, abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate people or entities and you must not post private or confidential information via the Service, including, without limitation, your or any other person’s credit card information, social security or alternate national identity numbers, non-public phone numbers or non-public email addresses.
  3. You are responsible for any activity that occurs through your account; please keep your password safe.
  4. You will not sell, transfer, license or assign your account, followers, username, or any account rights. With the exception of people or businesses that are expressly authorized to create accounts on behalf of their employers or clients, Say-so prohibits the creation of and you agree that you will not create an account for anyone other than yourself. You also represent that all information you provide or provided to Say-so upon registration and at all other times will be true, accurate, current and complete and you agree to update your information as necessary to maintain its truth and accuracy.
  5. You agree that you will not solicit, collect or use the login credentials of other Say-so users.
  6. You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You agree to comply with all laws, rules and regulations (for example UK Law) applicable to your use of the Service and your Content (defined below), including patent, trademark and copyright laws.
  7. You and only you are responsible for your content such as Voice notes, data, text, files, information, usernames, images, graphics, photos, profiles submitted via the app.
  8. You must not change, modify, adapt or alter the Service or change, modify or alter another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with the Service or Say-so.
  9. You must not access Say-so’s private API by means other than those permitted by Say-so.
  10. You must not use domain names or web URLs in your username without prior written consent from Say-so.
  11. You must not interfere or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service, including by transmitting any worms, viruses, spyware, malware or any other code of a destructive or disruptive nature. You may not inject content or code or otherwise alter or interfere with the way any Say-so page is rendered or displayed in a user’s browser or device.
  12. You must not create or submit unwanted email, comments, likes or other forms of commercial or harassing communications (a/k/a “spam”) to any Say-so users.
  13. You must comply with Say-so’s Safety Guidelines in the below section.
  14. You must not create accounts with the Service through unauthorized means, including but not limited to, by using an automated device, script, bot, spider, crawler or scraper.
  15. You must not attempt to restrict another user from using or enjoying the Service and you must not encourage or facilitate violations of these Terms of Use or any other Say-so terms.

Violation of these End User Licence agreement and Terms of Use may equal to the Say-so’s termination of your Say-so account. You understand and agree that Say-so cannot and will not be responsible for the Content posted on the Service and you use the Service at your own risk. If you violate the letter or spirit of these Terms of Use, or otherwise create risk or possible legal exposure for Say-so, we can stop providing all or part of the Service to you.

 

How to report Offensive posts, bullying and inappropriate material.

  1. Go to the post you want to report and press the three small circles next to the bounce icon.
  2. You can then write what you believe to be the issue with the post, given as much information as you feel necessary.
  3. Send the report, our Say-so team will be notified and will look into it within 24 hours.

Even if you are not a user of the Say-so application, please email us at info@say-soapp.com with the users @ with information about the post you want to report. This will get look at within 24 hours also.

Say-so Safety Guidelines

We want Say-so to be a safe place for everyone to enjoy interactive voice notes and capture moments, please help us with this by following our safety rules. By using Say-so you agree to these safety guidelines.

·         Share only Voice Notes and Pictures that you’ve recorded/taken or have the right to share.

As always, you own the content you post on Say-so. Always post content that is yours; do not post content you do not own as it may result in copy right infringement.

·         Post Voice Notes and pictures that are appropriate for your listeners.

There might be a time you want to share artistic udes, but for a variety of reasons, we don’t allow nudity on Say-so. No genitals, sexual intercourse, nude buttocks. It also includes some photos of female nipples, but photos of post-mastectomy scarring and women actively breastfeeding are allowed. Nudity in photos of paintings and sculptures is fine.

People like to share photos of their children. For safety reasons, there are times when we may remove images that show nude or partially-nude children. Even when this content is shared with good intentions, it could be used by others in unanticipated ways.

We have zero tolerance when it comes to sharing sexual content involving minors or threatening to post intimate images of others.

·         Do not spam.

Do not spam your Listeners with unneeded content

·         Lawful.

Say-so is not the app for supporting or praise of terrorist acts, organized crime, or hate groups. Offering sexual services, buying or selling firearms and illegal drugs. Remember to always follow the law when offering to sell or buy other regulated goods. Gambling accounts must be verified by say-so support at info@say-soapp.com first.

·         Respect everyone on the application.

You can have views on public figures, just no threats or hate speech towards them. We will remove voice notes and pictures that contain threats or hate speech, content that targets private individuals to degrade or shame them, personal information meant to blackmail or harass someone, and repeated unwanted messages.

 

Never upload a voice note about violence or attack anyone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or diseases. When hate speech is being shared to challenge it or to raise awareness, we may allow it. But please state that you are spreading awareness clearly and you do not support it. Any voice notes being uploaded of the above will be deleted within 24 hours of Say-so being notified and your account will be permanently suspended.

Serious threats of harm to public and personal safety aren’t allowed. This includes specific threats of physical harm as well as threats of theft, vandalism, and other financial harm. We carefully review reports of threats and consider many things when determining whether a threat is credible.

Keeping a safe, positive and fun application, this is what you can do to help.

 

As a user if you spot any Say-so posts that does not meet our End User Licence agreement or our terms please report the post so we can look at it within 24 hours and get it reviewed and possibility removed.

Terms of service

Your Rights

You retain your rights to any Content you submit, post or display on or through the Services. What’s yours is yours — you own your Content (your voice recordings, photos).

By submitting, posting or displaying Content on or through the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute such Content in any and all media or distribution methods (now known or later developed). This license authorises us to make your Content available to the rest of the world and to let others do the same. You agree that this license includes the right for Say-so to use the content on the app as it pleases.

 

Using the Services

You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws, rules and regulations set out in this section.

Our Services evolve constantly. As such, the Services may change from time to time, at our discretion. We may stop (permanently or temporarily) providing the Services or any features within the Services to you or to users generally. We also retain the right to create limits on use and storage at our sole discretion at any time. We may also remove or refuse to distribute any Content on the Services, suspend or terminate users, and reclaim usernames without liability to you.

 

Say-so will grant you access to use our app, you agree that Say-so and its third-party providers and partners may place advertising on the Services or in connection with the display of Content or information from the Services whether submitted by you or others. You also agree not to misuse our Services, for example, by interfering with them or accessing them using a method other than the interface and the instructions that we provide.

 

Your Say-so Account

You will need to download and create an account to use Say-so. You are responsible for safeguarding your account, so use a strong password and limit its use to this account; we have a minimum six character password you may want to make it longer/stronger. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above.

 

 

Your License to Use the Services

Say-so gives you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable and non-exclusive license to use the software provided to you as part of the Services. This license has the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the benefit of the Services as provided by Say-so, in the manner permitted by these Terms.

The Services are protected by copyright, and other laws of both the United Kingdom and foreign countries. Nothing in the Terms gives you a right to use the Say-so name or any of the Say-so trademarks, logos, domain names, and other distinctive brand features. All right, title, and interest in and to the Services (excluding Content provided by users) are and will remain the exclusive property of Say-so and its licensors.

 

Ending These Terms

You may end your legal agreement with Say-so at any time by deactivating your accounts and discontinuing your use of the Services.

 

Say-so is Available “AS-IS”

Your access to and use of the Services or any Content are at your own risk. You understand and agree that the Services are provided to you on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”.

 

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SAY-SO ENTITIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOOD-WILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (i) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES; (ii) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS OR THIRD PARTIES; (iii) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICES; OR (iv) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE SAY-SO ENTITIES EXCEED THE GREATER OF TWENTY UK POUNDS (£20.00) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID SAY-SO, IF ANY, IN THE PAST SIX MONTHS FOR THE SERVICES GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. THE LIMITATIONS OF THIS SUBSECTION SHALL APPLY TO ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, STATUTE, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, AND WHETHER OR NOT THE SAY-SO ENTITIES HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH DAMAGE, AND EVEN IF A REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN IS FOUND TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

You are responsible for any mobile charges that you may incur for using our Services, such as mobile broadband data charges. If you’re unsure what those charges may be, you should ask your service provider before using the Services.
